ON THE BIKE PATH
The Adige Cycle Route runs on a gentle incline along the ancient Roman road Via Claudia Augusta from Lake Resia to Merano and on towards Bolzano. There is plenty to discover along the way, such as the sunken tower in Lake Reschen, the medieval town of Glurns, the marble village of Laas and the spa town of Meran.
From AMARIL, you can get straight onto the middle of the cycle path and cycle off in either direction. There are numerous rental and return stations for bikes along the route - so you can shorten the tour flexibly and return comfortably on the Venosta Valley Railway.
MOUNTAIN BIKING ON THE SUN

Those who prefer to swap flat cycle paths for rooted forest paths and forest tracks will find tours of varying degrees of difficulty around the AMARIL.
Uphills, downhills and trails for beginners and passionate high mountain bikers wind their way along the Sonnenberg and the wooded Nörderberg. The tours wind their way through forests and across meadows and alpine pastures - and offer impressive views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
